Haiti Disaster Fund

In an effort to help the people of Haiti, following the deadly earthquake on January 12, Mosborough Elim Church would like to make it easy for you to donate money to trustworthy organisations in the relief effort.

In a country that has so few resources, the earthquake that devastated Haiti is a catastrophe, with an estimated death toll of up to 200,000 and up to 3 million affected.
The main impact of the earthquake, the worst in Haiti for two centuries, was 10 miles from the capital Port-au-Prince. Thousands of Haitians have lost their homes. Many are severely injured. Many remain trapped in damaged buildings and rescue efforts continue to release them.

Through our partnering organisations we are helping those who have survived to help rebuild their lives.
If you would like to contribute, firstly pray. Praying for all those right now who are suffering and families that are broken. If you can make a monetary gift, please make a cheque payable to Elim International Missions and post it to our Church:

Mosborough Elim Church
79 Queen Street
Mosborough
Sheffield
S20 5BP

Mosborough Elim Church will be communicating with our friends who are working to make a difference to people’s lives in Haiti at this time.

There are also many reputable Christian charities that are involved in the relief effort. As you evaluate your options, please consider giving to one of the organizations also listed below.
