We Have Our Job To Do!
Monday 17th May

Like every Church we have a great deal of work to do in order to help us spread the Good News message of loving people and reaching others.
Our Church building is in need of repair and it reminded me of a scripture in 2 Chronicles 24, where King Joash decided to repair and recondition the Temple. He summoned the people and gave them these instructions:
``Go to all the cities of Judah and collect offerings for the building fund, so that we can maintain the Temple in good repair. Get at it right away. Don't delay.''
As years have gone by, certain areas of the Church have become outdated and now needs refurbishing to bring it “fit for purpose”
- Welcoming!
- Warm and comfortable!
- A place for one another for the community, where friendships can be built and care and love can be shown.
- A place, in which each of us can find a moment of peace in the presence of God
And we appeal for your help, like King Joash did, to help maintain the Church.
What needs doing...
- The Church needs a new kitchen with new coffee and tea making facilities, in order to serve others within the community.
- New toilets with disabled access is required.
- New Flooring
- Extra heating
If you feel you can help in any way, please contact Pastor Jonathan
Elim Mens 'Enable' Conference
Saturday 20th February
A group of 8 men from Mosborough Elim Church attended the Elim Mens Conference which was held at the Birmingham Christian Centre in February.

A Successful Christmas Fayre
On 12th December we held our first Christmas Fayre at Mosborough Elim Church.
During the 3 hour event, we sold Christmas gift sets, Christmas cards, toys, games, DVDs and much much more. We also had a visit from Father Christmas, in his Christmas grotto, who gave all the children a free Christmas present. We saw about 150 people come to the event and the atmosphere was amazing. We thank everyone for all their hard work and support, THANK YOU...
What a way to start the New Year.
On the 3rd January 2010, we saw three new Christians baptised. What an amazing way to start the New Year. All three people gave a testimony of their journey with Christ so far, and the joy of seeing them baptised was wonderful. The Bible declares that 'if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away' 2 Corinthians 5:17.
This Year...
- Let go of our past
- Embrace God in our present
- And He will bring forth change to our future
And give Him thanks because anyone who is in Christ Jesus is a New Creation.
